Biometric system not to be used in upcoming elections

According to documents obtained by Tolo TV a document the Independent Election Commission has decided not to use biometric system in the upcoming presidential elections.

Biometric system will not be used in Ghazni parliamentary and district councils elections. 

It is worth noting that using biometric system was a controversial issue when the recent parliament election was due to be held. Political parties`leaders emphasized on using this system so the government obeying them ordered purchasing biometric system while there was a very limited time left to the parliament election.
