26 May 2019 The Killid Group

Kabul (The Killid) – Security Officials foiled perpetrators of a possible blast in PD5 of the Afghan capital Sunday, Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement.

According to the statement, the government opposition group had imbedded explosive devices on the footpath near Hilal Ahmar Afghani (equivalent to Red Cross) in PD5, which the police – in cooperation with security officials – foiled from exploding.

The ministry said the devices were set in the area to cause harm and chaos amongst residents in the city.

No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the plot.
