Lutfullah Stanikzai Reserves Seat in ACB as CEO

KABUL (The Killid) – Lutfullah Stanikzai is appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, according to the ACB.

"As per the ACB constitution, following the due procedure, Mr. @Lutfullah1504 has been appointed as the new CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board," ACB said in a tweet Wednesday.

Asadullah Khan was holding the position prior to him.

Stanekzai holds a Master's Degree in global management, and has previously served as Media and marketing officer at the cricket board.

Following a decree by the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani earlier this year, the Board has now the authority to appoint their leadership board upon a due procedure, which before the president would select after reviewing applicants credentials.
