Facebook has been fined 5 billion dollars

The US Federal Trade Commission fined Facebook to pay a 5 billion dollars fine under the influence of disclosure of information. Facebook, which in recent years has been heavily pressured by political, governmental and nongovernmental organizations in the world, especially the United States, and has repeatedly been penalized for its negligence and cooperation with research institutes and the disclosure of private information by users and their privacy violations. According to reports from the Bloomberg, the US Federal Trade Commission has been sentenced Facebook to a 5 billion dollars fine under the influence of security scams and theft of its users’ information, in collaboration with the Cambridge Research and Advisory Institute of Analytics.

The company has yet to comment on the report, but US officials say the decision has been taken after disclosure of the Facebook users’ profile to the Analytical Research and Counseling Institute. US officials have also said that the decision has been taken to secure users information by the government of the United States.
