The total population density of the country is reaching 32.2 million in Afghanistan, of which approximately 15.8 million are men and the remaining 16.4 million are women.

Increasing population in Afghanistan has become a source of concern for officials at the Ministry of Economy. If they do not grow in proportion to economic growth of country, people will face food scarcity, water shortage, poverty, pollution, lack of proper education and unemployment otherwise.

July 11th is World Population Day, which is on the day in most of the world’s great countries.
