Gunman Storms Civilians on Personal Grudge

HERAT (The Killid) – A gunman stormed civilians and wounded two people in the Western province, local authorities said.

Abdual Ahad Wali Zada, Spokesman for the local police, told The Killid, "around 9:30am today (Sunday), an armed man opened fire against civilians at Darb Malak, injuring at least two."

According to Wali Zada, the perpetrator has been arrested by the local police, and admitted he took such a lead upon personal grudge.

Meanwhile, officials of the hospitals said one of the two victims are in severe condition.

It comes at a time resident in Herat raise concern over increasing number of violence and murder cases in the province.
