2019 Elections Budget Approved: IEC

KABUL (The Killid) – The 2019 Presidential Elections' Budget has been approved, the Independent Election Commission said in a statement.

According to the statement released Monday, the IEC expressed gratitude to the Afghan government and International communities in the regard.

The IEC has estimated elections will cost $149 million – the Afghan government will pay $90 million of the amount while the remaining $59 million will be paid by the international donors.

Meanwhile, the IEC board of directorate called for national and international institutions, as well as public to help the commission in holding a transparent and healthy elections.
