4 people dead in traffic accidents during Eid in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least four people were killed as a result of traffic accidents while 14 others injured toy weapons during Eid-ul-Adha holidays in capital Kabul.

Abdul Subor Hussainkhel, Traffic Department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News that five traffic accidents took place in the past four days of Eid in Kabul.

The accidents happened in Mahipar area, Bagrami district, Pul-i-Charkhi area and on airport road. Four people lost their lives during the traffic accidents on Arafat Day and three days of Eid, he added.

According to Hussanikhel three drivers were detained and one driver managed to escape in Pul-i-Charkhi area.

Mohammad Yousaf Baraki, head of Noor Hospital in Kabul, said 14 persons injured with toy weapons had been evacuated to the hospital. He said eight men, three women and three children were among the injured.
