A Cache of Weapons Discovered in Khost

It was quoted in a statement released by Khost security officials [December 11, 2019] as saying that National Security Forces have discovered and seized a cache of weapons in the eastern part of Khost city last night. Khost Deputy Governor, Abdul Wahid Patan, said the militants attempted to use these weapons and ammunition in launching destructive operations in Khost city and outskirts. According to him, the cache included roadside mines, light and heavy weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo. No one has so far been detained in this regard; however, the investigations are being underway. No group has commented in regard with this incident.
