Afghan Cricketers to Face South Africa in U19 World Cup

Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team will face host South Africa on Friday in the first match of the U19 World Cup.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) tournament has contestants from 16 national under-19 teams.
The tournament is scheduled to run from January 17 to February 9, and 48 ODI matches will be played.
The Afghan team is in group D and will play against South Africa, Canada and UAE.
Afghanistan beat the UK by 21 in a warm-up match on Tuesday.
"I had confidence in my batting which paid off, said Abdul Rahman, who had a good performance against the English.
The Afghan team has already started warm-up matches and training to be ready for the World Cup.
At the previous World Cup In 2018, Afghanistan’s U19 team reached the semi-finals.
