Foreign media quoted one of the founders of the Islamic State, who is said to be Turkmen, as the new leader of the ISIS group.

According to The Guardian, two intelligence agencies have confirmed the news based on their data and observations. The British newspaper did not mention the names of the intelligence agencies it cited.

“Amir Mohammad Saeed Abdul Rahman Mullah Salbi,” one of the founders of the ISIL group, is said to have been elected as the group’s new leader. Many refer to him as the theorists of the ISIL group.

Amir Mohammed Abdul Rahman Mullah Salbi is also said to be a Turkmen of Iraq, and is one of the rare non-Arabs in the ISIL leadership.

Abu Bakr Talib Baghdadi was killed in a US military operation in Syria about three months ago, shortly after ISIS announced his successor. But no one knew this person, and even some analysts doubted that such a person existed at all.
