(TKG) – A mosque in Indian capital was set on fire as the death toll from protests against India’s new citizenship law rises to 13, media reported. A mosque was set ablaze in the Indian capital New Delhi as violent protests continue across the city with leaving more than a dozen killed. More than a hundred people were, reportedly, injured during the clashes. The violence started a day after the governing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Mishra warned anti-CAA protesters to end their peaceful sit-ins in the Indian capital. Since the time the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed, India's capital has been a focus of unrest against the act. The act makes it easier for non-Muslims from three neighboring Muslim-dominated countries to gain Indian citizenship.
