MoPH confirms recovery of 10 coronavirus patients

KABUL (SW) - The Ministry of Public Health officials have report recovery of 10 people with novel coronavirus in the country.

Ministry of Public Health spokesman, Wahid Mayar said at a news conference on Wednesday that ten patients with the virus have recovered in six provinces and have been discharged from hospital since the outbreak of the coronavirus.

 According to him, 5 patients recovered in Herat, 1 in Kandahar, 1 in Nimroz, 1 in Kapisa, 1 in Daikundi and 1 in Samangan.

At the same time, the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health mentioned the increase in the number of people with coronavirus.

Mayar said that in the last 24 hours, 185 samples were tested in Herat and Kabul laboratories, of which 22 have been confirmed positive. Among them, 12 cases were from Herat, 6 in Kabul, 1 each in Farah, Ghazni, Baghlan and Paktika provinces.

THE spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health once again warned of the growing number of people with coronavirus, saying that Kabul has the highest number of cases after Herat, with 16 positive cases.

Meanwhile, Herat Governor Abdul Qayum Rahimi has also warned of an increase in the number of people with coronavirus and urged people to stay home for as long as possible.
