The United States with 1,601,434 cases of infection remains the worst-hit country in the world and with 96,007 deaths has the highest record of deaths. As of today, the infection toll in all across continents is as: in Africa, the five countries reporting most cases are South Africa (20,125) with 397 deaths, Egypt (15,786) with 707 deaths, Algeria (7,918) with 582 deaths, Morocco (7,332) with 197 total deaths, and Nigeria (7,261) with 221 deaths. In Asia, the five countries reporting most cases are Russia (326,448) with 3,249 deaths, Turkey (154,500) with 4,276 deaths, Iran (131,652) with 7,300 fatalities, India (125,149) with 3,728 deaths and China (84,081) with 4,638 total fatalities. In America, the five countries reporting most cases are United States (1,601,434) and a total of 96,007 deaths, Brazil (330,890) with 21,048 deaths, Peru (111,698) with 3,244 deaths,  Canada (83,947) with 6,360 deaths and Mexico (62,527) with 6,989 total deaths. In Europe, the five countries reporting most cases are United Kingdom (255,544) with 36,475 fatalities, Spain (234,824) with 28,628 deaths, Italy (228,658) with 32,616 deaths, France (182,015) with 28,218 total deaths, and Germany (179,710) with a total of 8,241 total fatalities. In Oceania, the two countries reporting most cases are Australia (7,111) with a total of 102 deaths, and New Zealand (1,504) with 21 deaths. The virus is spreading rapidly in many countries and the death toll is still climbing, and countries continue to battle the novel coronavirus as it infects more than 5.2 million around the world.
