Coronavirus in Afghanistan: 76 New COVID-19 Cases Reported

Afghanistan’s coronavirus count has passed 35,000 as 76 additional COVID-19 cases were reported over the past 24 hours. The country’s total number of COVID-19 cases stood at 35,070 on Thursday, with 22,881 COVID-19 patients cured so far. Kabul is the most affected province, followed by Herat, Balkh and Kandahar. It, however, saw the lowest number of cases in the last 24 hours. The country’s COVID-19 death toll has hit 1,115, as 21 patients having been infected with the disease died within the past 24 hours, according to a tally of data released by the health ministry. Another statistic also indicated rise: the number of recoveries passed 22,881 as 425 patients got better after the illness.
