Nabi named member of the Afghanistan Cricket Board

20 Aug 2020 CricBuzz

Allrounder Mohammad Nabi has been appointed as a member of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB). The 35-year-old is still an active international cricketer and is currently plying his trade at the Caribbean Premier League.

Nabi is among four new members who have replaced the outgoing members of ACB's nine-member panel. The other three names are Hasina Safi, Rohullah Khanzada and Haroon Mir. All the appointments were made following recommendations by ACB chairman Mr. Farhan Yusefzai and subsequently approval by Patron in-chief, H.E Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.

Nabi retired from Test cricket in September last year after the one-off Test against Bangladesh, in order to prolong his white-ball career. He's also contracted with Sunrisers Hyderabad as a player for IPL 2020.
