Woman found dead in Kandahar

AT News KABUL: A dead body of a woman with a peeled face and head was found in Kandahar, police officials said on Wednesday. The residents have found her in Aino Mina, Police Spokesman Jamal Naser Barekzai said. The scene showed a woman dead body lying in the ground with scratched wounds in her face and head and the rest of her body was covered with Hijab. The investigation team is in the area, Mr. Barekzai said. “When the crime happened and who is behind the murder, is unknown.” This is as recently the Ministry of Women’s Affairs announced that it has recorded 2,582 cases of violence against women in the first four months of the current year. More cases were reported during coronavirus quarantine. 18 killing, seven suicides, eight injuries and one kangaroo court is among the 2,582 cases registered during the four months.
