Bus carrying dozens of civilians hit a road side bomb in Farah

At least eight people killed and 40 more wounded in a roadside mine explosion on Kabul-Herat highway on Tuesday early morning, officials said.

The incident took place on the highway located in Farahroad of Farah province, said Naser Mehri spokesperson for Farah governor.

He added that the causalities includes women and children who were traveling in a 303 bus.

Most of the roadside mines are placed by the armed militants to target governmental and foreign forces in the area.

Yet no one claimed responsibility for the incident.
