Taliban Commander, 5 Daesh Members Arrested in Nangarhar

Afghan security forces have arrested one Taliban commander along with five members of Daesh group during the past week in Nangarhar province, officials said.

Hayatullah Hayat, the governor of Nangarhar in a press conference said Afghan forces arrested these individuals at the vicinity of Jalalabad city.

Hayat noted security forces have seized 41 miles of light and heavy weapons from the Taliban commander and Daesh members.

The arrested individuals have admitted to their crimes.

The governor of Nangarhar stressed that they are trying to prevent terrorists entering the Jalalabad city.
