Parliament candidates threaten to boycott Loya Jirga

KABUL: Those parliament candidates who are announced the

winners threatened to boycott the consultative Loya Jirga if the results of all

provinces are not announced within 10 days.

These candidates who have received credentials, say that the

legislative power has been paralyzed due to long delay in inaugurating of new

parliament.

But the independent election commission says that they were

working on the announcement of results from remaining provinces, assuring that

it would be announced soon.
