Recent floods have damaged roads and highways in the country

The Ministry of Transport has published a newsletter stating: “The impact of extreme rainfall and flooding on parts of roads and highways in the provinces of Kabul, Herat, Zabul, Parwan, Farah, Faryab, Wardak, Badakhshan, Takhar, Paktia, Balkh, Kapisa, and Helmand have been destroyed, and Kabul and Jalalabad highways in Kabul and Kandahar have also been destroyed.

In addition, it has been said that recent floods have blocked some roads into traffic, which the rescue teams of this ministry are trying to open these roads.
